Dialing in our inline moisture analyzer

Quick question: for those running NIR moisture probes on wheat temper or first break, how often are you verifying and adjusting offsets against the 105 C, 2-hour oven test, and what drift do you tolerate before you lock out adjustments? We put a new inline unit over B1 in May and are seeing +/- 0.3% over 12 hours; I’m aiming to tie it to the temper water VFD for tighter feed control, but I won’t automate until I’m confident it won’t push us into a choke or compromise dust control — what’s working safely and efficiently for you?

We check 2x/shift vs 105°C, lock >0.4%; your “±0.3%/12h” is fine — tie VFD but require 3-sample average.

I’d do a daily white-tile reference and a ‘0.2% deadband + 0.1%/min rate limit’ on the VFD, with window purge.
