ATP luminometers you trust in audits

Has anyone validated ATP luminometers they’re comfortable defending during FSMA Preventive Controls inspections? I’m comparing Hygiena EnSURE Touch vs 3M Clean-Trace for two RTE deli rooms, targeting <100 RLU on stainless after CIP with a 30-minute dry time, and I’m looking for real-world thresholds, how you mitigate PAA/QAC interference, and what recordkeeping setup has satisfied auditors.

@OP We’ve defended 3M Clean-Trace in FSMA audits by adding a sterile DI water wipe before swabbing and stretching the ‘30-minute dry time’ to 45 when QAC/PAA are in play; that let us hold stainless post-CIP at <75 RLU with far fewer false spikes. Small caveat: RLUs don’t translate between systems, so whichever you pick, build a site-specific baseline and let the instrument auto-sync records for the audit trail — do you have Wi‑Fi in both deli rooms?

We’re on EnSURE Touch; what sold it in audits was a per‑shift QC: a D/E “blank ≤20 RLU,” then a Hygiena ATP positive control within our control chart, with photos and corrective actions logged in SureTrend. For PAA/QAC, we give the neutralizer 60 s contact and if a damp blank is >20 RLU we rinse, extend dry to about 45 min, and reswab — cuts false highs (and 6 a.m. debates). If you go 3M, their Luminometer Control Kit does the same; @taylorh91 have you tried a blank-threshold screen like this?
